Nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi took centre stage on Thursday at EICMA in Milan, as the Italian celebrated ‘One More Lap’ with Yamaha. The 42-year-old thrilled the crowd in attendance by roaring out onboard a 60th anniversary-livered Yamaha M1, before unveiling a limited edition VR46 Yamaha R1. On Wednesday, Team Suzuki Ecstar duo Joan Mir and Alex Rins were in attendance along with Aprilia Racing teammates Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales. VR46 Racing Team’s Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi were also in Milan on Thursday, ahead of Rossi’s MotoGP™ outfit making its full debut in 2022. Honda’s 2022 bike, Ducati’s huge new exhaust and Suzuki’s chassis all captured the attention from Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto.
