You won’t have to go far next season to understand and validate the impact of the Road to Indy ladder system on the NTT IndyCar Series.
A few weeks later, Rinus VeeKee signed with Ed Carpenter, giving the NTT IndyCar Series three full-time signees with recent experience in the Road to Indy presented by Cooper Tires.
“A couple years ago (the NTT) IndyCar (Series) looked so far away, let alone Indy Lights,” Askew said when Arrow McLaren SP announced his and O’Ward’s signings.
“To step up from USF2000 to the NTT IndyCar Series in three years is really special.”
