Report: Monza Mileage

Checo and Lance cleared over 100 laps of running between them ahead of Formula 1’s Italian Grand Prix in a good day’s work for the team. Checo and Lance returned to the track with just an over hour of running remaining and set about posting their first flying laps. Checo’s first flyer was a 1.23.804 effort, while Lance moved into P3 after improving his benchmark to 1.22.668. Checo would again improve his time, setting a time of 1.21.808 for P7 with Lance in P13, as both our drivers racked up the running. A 1.22.556 first effort put him top of the times briefly, while Checo’s first effort on the same compound proved to be a 1.22.272 – as Lance improved to a 1.22.056 best lap. Lance would soon set his best time of the session with a 1.21.389 lap to take P8 at the flag, as Checo’s 1.21.594 lap time secured P10.
