Lance battled his way to a P10 finish in Formula 1’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after Checo was cruelly forced to retire in the early stages of the BWT Racing Point F1 Team’s final race. It wasn’t the way anyone wanted Checo’s final race with the team to end and he demonstrated his class by consoling his team in the garage. Lance: “That was a tough race today and we were on the backfoot once Checo had to retire through no fault of our own. “That cost us time, but we still struggled at times in the race. Sergio: “I’m really sad that my final race with the team ended so early and with a repeat of the engine problem we had in Bahrain. I really wanted to sign off with a strong race for everyone in the team.
