Remy Gardner, the Moto2™ World Champion in numbers

After a long and hard-fought battle with his Red Bull KTM Ajo teammate Raul Fernandez, Remy Gardner has finally put both hands on the Moto2™ World title thanks to a P10 finish at the Motul Grand Prix of Valencia. 1st- Remy Gardner is the first Australian rider to clinch the Moto2™ title and the second to do so in the intermediate category of GP racing along with Kel Carruthers in 1969. The Moto2™ World Champion’s first victory came at the Portuguese GP in 2020. 5- The number of fastest race laps set by the Australian in Moto2™. 8th- Aged 23 years and 263 days old, Gardner is the eighth youngest rider to clinch the title in Moto2™, behind Alex Marquez (23 years 194 days old).
