Red Bull future set despite Mateschitz death

Red Bull’s future in Formula 1 is “set” despite the death last weekend of the energy drink company’s founder Dietrich Mateschitz. Mark is also said to be close to Red Bull’s Thai side of the business, with the energy drink company 51 percent owned by original Red Bull founder Chalerm Yoovidhya. As for Red Bull’s premier F1 team, new world champions Red Bull Racing, team boss Christian Horner insists “the future is set” despite Mateschitz’s death. “He had the vision for and endorsed the plan for Red Bull Powertrains, to set the team up for the future, for the long term.”.
