Red Bull chief Christian Horner declares his team’s one-two finish at the Emilia Romagna GP as one of the their ‘best ever results’ after bouncing back from Max Verstappen’s retirement in Australia

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has claimed Max Verstappen’s victory in front of team-mate Sergio Perez at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix to be one of the team’s ‘best ever results’. Verstappen comfortably triumphed at Imola, leading every one of the 63 laps, to take his second win of the season in the first four races. With Perez finishing second it marks the team’s first one-two at any race since the 2016 Malaysian Grand Prix when Verstappen finished second behind current McLaren star Daniel Ricciardo. Both Max and Checo [Perez] have driven brilliantly this weekend and that one-two finish, all credit to the team. Leclerc though still leads the drivers’ championship by just over a race winning margin to Verstappen who has cut his deficit to the Ferrari driver down to 27 points.
