It was a weekend to forget for Team Suzuki Ecstar heading into Sunday’s Pertamina Indonesian Grand Prix. To add to that, Rins was suffering with illness all weekend, admitting on Friday he “only slept for four hours” and that caused him to “suffer a lot”. “It was a tough one,” started Rins, speaking after the race. Joan Mir went from P17 to P6 while Alex Rins secured P5 to make it a more than respectable weekend for the Hamamatsu factory. If the race was in the dry, for sure I don’t know if I would have finished in the top five.
