LEWIS HAMILTON will start the Qatar Grand Prix on pole after a superb drive in qualifying. Lewis Hamilton has said he will wear the rainbow-coloured helmet he wore for practice and qualifying yesterday in Qatar for the rest of the F1 season. Lewis Hamilton might have taken pole for Qatar, but he admitted it’s been a tough week for him. Lewis Hamilton has said that F1’s rules are still “not clear” ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix. But Hamilton has said the clash has made him question the rules further. Max Verstappen’s front row starting position is in doubt, after he was summoned to see F1 stewards for reportedly failing to slow for yellow flags on his final lap of qualifying. Lewis Hamilton took pole position for the Qatar Grand Prix, but Christian Horner and Wolff locked horns on Friday ahead of the race. Max Verstappen has said he felt Red Bull were lacking in pace as Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes took pole position for tomorrow’s Qatar Grand Prix. It means Verstappen slows down, not that he was able to better Hamilton’s time by the looks of the lap. They have slowed the progress of the final runs… STONKING LAP FROM HAMILTON.
