With the FIA World Rally Championship’s winter fixtures successfully staged, Pirelli is preparing for its first full asphalt round of the series in Croatia next month. Two rounds in, the Italian tyre company’s rally activity manager, Terenzio Testoni, is pleased with its return as the WRC’s sole tyre supplier. “Both of those events went well and, don’t forget, with the winter conditions, it’s not so easy to make the perfect test for the tyre when you cannot be so confident for the weather. “The conditions were challenging, but the tyres worked and now we look forward to the first asphalt rally at the Croatia Rally (22 – 25 April).
