Perrego Stops Friesen In Fonda Finale

FONDA, N.Y. – Anthony Perrego put an ending to Stewart Friesen’s winning ways at Fonda Speedway Sunday, taking the 30-lap season finale at the half-mile dirt oval. “I found something on the entry to the corners,” Perrego said. This is the first time Perrego has beat Friesen on his home turf, something not a lot of people have been able to do since 2015. “It’s pretty crazy the run he was on here,” Perrego said. This is Perrego’s second victory in as many attempts in this particular race car after previously scoring a victory at Vermont’s Devil’s Bowl Speedway. “Second time out with this car and second win,” Perrego said.
