Team Penske founder and owner Roger Penske received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, from President Donald Trump during a ceremony Oct. 24 in the Oval Office of the White House.
Team Penske has won more than 500 races, 600 pole positions and 36 national championships across open-wheel, stock car and sports car competition.
“We’re grateful for his exceptional leadership and invaluable contributions to the NTT IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and we were all pleased to see him accept this remarkable recognition at the White House.”
