2019 Champion topped the times from Iannone in the 20-minute Michelin Tyre Test at Phillip Island.
At the end of normal Friday proceedings at the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the MotoGP™ riders headed out on a dry Phillip Island track to test a 2020 Michelin soft front and rear tyre specification.
At the end of it, Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was fastest from Andrea Iannone (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) and Friday pacesetter Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), with the reigning Champion producing a stunning save at Turn 10.
