STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. – Todd Owen was in complete control of the SK Modified division on Friday night at Stafford Motor Speedway. Rufrano took the lead on the restart with Christopher and Cory DiMatteo side by side for second. Rufrano took the lead back under green with Christopher right behind him in second. Owen was right behind Christopher and he took second on lap 13 and made a move to the inside of Christopher for the lead. At the halfway point of the race Owen was in the lead followed by Christopher, Rufrano, DiMatteo, Williams, Arute, and Rocco. Owen was starting to stretch out his advantage over Christopher and the rest of the field and with 10 laps to go he was in front by 1.5 seconds. Owen took third from Vassar and then second from Christopher on lap four as Talman had retaken the lead from Christopher.
