He may be a fresh face on the F1 grid this season but Aussie debutant Oscar Piastri can forget about any thoughts of a grace period, with a leading commentator saying he has just six months to perform. Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle said the pressure will be on Piastri from the first race at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Monday. ‘I think it’ll depend on how it starts for him, the first few races,’ he told Fox Sports. ‘To be calling myself a Formula One driver and be preparing for my first race is a special feeling, definitely.’. ‘Obviously, the test (last week’s pre-season session in Bahrain) wasn’t the smoothest, but I think we’ll get a better understanding of where we’re at come tomorrow. ‘I don’t think we’re in a terrible place as it is,’ said the Briton.
