Ogier remains optimistic about title bid

Sébastien Ogier remains upbeat about his chances of lifting his seventh FIA World Rally Championship crown this season, despite facing a 14-point deficit to Toyota team-mate Elfyn Evans. Ogier’s retirement from Turkey hit his title tilt hard but he’s only looking forward for the final two rounds of the season in Belgium and Italy. The Frenchman previously admitted he was frustrated by the last two rallies in Turkey and Italy, adding: “I feel at the moment a little bit [of] hard luck because that’s two rallies in a row where we are fastest. Ogier has been running second with two rounds remaining for the last couple of years.
