Mercedes-Benz EQ’s Nyck de Vries set the pace in the second practice session from Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport as Formula E’s 12 teams and 24 drivers ramped up ahead of qualifying for Round 6 of the 2019/20 campaign. A 1:07.832 was the benchmark in Practice 1, set by Nissan e.dams’ Oliver Rowland, and it took only five minutes of Practice 2 for it to be beaten by some half-a-second in this session. Practice 1’s pace-setter Rowland rounded 11th and this session looked even closer than the first, with the top 16 drivers covered by just under a second.
