No special emotions as longest F1 career ends

Kimi Raikkonen says he feels no special emotions except perhaps impatience as his longest-ever Formula 1 career finally draws to a close next Sunday. “I don’t know why I should feel special emotions,” the Finn answered when asked about his looming retirement. “I look forward to the moment when I finish my career,” Raikkonen insisted. “The last grand prix is just a race where we will try our best,” he said. “This is a new track for us,” Raikkonen said in Saudi Arabia, “so let’s see what happens. “I didn’t even walk around the track at the last race,” he said in Saudi Arabia when asked how he has and will prepare for the ultra high-speed Jeddah street layout.
