Nissan’s Nato tops FP1 in London finale

The Formula E grid got their first taste of the indoor-outdoor London circuit in GEN3, as Free Practice 1 got underway on Friday afternoon. Nissan’s Norman Nato set the quickest time with a 1m10.765s, in the first practice session of the season finale weekend in London. Sandwiched between the two Nissans was Season 2 champion Sebastien Buemi (Envision Racing) and just 0.006s off the top spot. The Envision Racing and Jaguar TCS Racing cars are expected to be strong this weekend, and started well with Sebastien Buemi (Envision) topping the timesheets for most of the first 15 minutes. However, it was Nissan’s Norman Nato who stole the FP1 crown as he finished the session with a time of 1m10.765s.
