Nicky Grist's career involved sitting in possibly the scariest seat in motorsport – co-driving for some of the World Rally Championship's greatest drivers, from Colin McRae to Juha Kankkunen. While Grist never won a title with McRae (although they did win 17 rallies together) he did win a WRC crown with Kankkunen in 1993 in a Toyota Celica.
