INDIANAPOLIS — Josef Newgarden won a thrilling, and a frightening, 107th Indianapolis 500 Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A massive crash on lap 185 of Sunday’s 107th Indianapolis 500 has stopped the race 15 laps short of the finish as a wheel went flying into the crowd in turn two. The race got off to a flying start as the first 92 laps of the race were run at a stunning pace before rookie Sting Ray Robb crashes in turn two. The second caution of the race was on lap 150 when Romain Grosjean of Andretti Autosport crashed in turn two. It was one of the tightest Indianapolis 500 battles, as 23 cars were on the lead lap with 17 laps remaining.
