NASCAR Mods Moved To Oct. 9 On World Series Weekend

BARRE, Vt. ­— The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will headline Sunday of World Series weekend with their Sunoco World Series 150 presented by Budweiser, and the Outlaw Open Modified will now compete with the new $10,000-to-Win Open Modified Sunoco 100 joining the Saturday, October 8 program alongside the PASS Super Late Models and American-Canadian Tour. With the move, tour-type modified racing will continue to be held on all three days of the 60th annual Sunoco World Series presented by Budweiser with the Modified Racing Series 75 on Friday, October 7, the new $10,000-to-Win Sunoco 100 for the Thompson Outlaw Open Modified Series on Saturday, October 8 and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour World Series 150 on Sunday, October 9.
