Morbidelli undergoes successful left knee surgery

This morning, Friday 25th June, Petronas Yamaha SRT’s Franco Morbidelli underwent a one-hour surgery to repair his injured meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Upon release, the Italian will be able to start the recovery process, which will include an eight-week rehabilitation programme. I want to thank Professor Maurilio Marcacci and his team for their work. I can’t wait to be able to start my recovery process. The Italian will have an operation on Friday, June 25th to solve the problem to the meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament. A knee injury sustained in training puts the Italian out of action for Round 9 of the season.
