Morbidelli heads Rossi in rain-affected Warm Up

Riders at the top of the timesheets set their laps in dry conditions as rain falls in Spielberg.
While the track had just dried from overnight and early morning rain, Petronas Yamaha SRT’s Franco Morbidelli set a 1:28.803 to lead the way in MotoGP™ Warm Up at the myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich.
The riders were about to get some more dry track time in ahead of the race this afternoon but the heavens opened with 12 minutes of Warm Up remaining, meaning the premier class would put in the wet tyres for 10 minutes of wet weather running.
