Ahead of continuing his adaptation to Honda’s RC213V MotoGP™ thoroughbred at the Official MotoGP™ Sepang Test in the not too distance future, new Repsol Honda Team recruit Joan Mir has been getting to grips with Honda’s CBR 1000 RR Fireblade superbike at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. Mir began his Honda adventure at the one-day Official Valencia Test in November 2022 and as pre-season training ramps up, Mir headed back to Valencia’s familiar stomping ground to spin some important laps on Honda’s superbike. The upcoming Sepang Test is a crucial three days for every rider and team – but especially Honda, who were left disappointed with how their Valencia Test went. 2023 began in earnest on Tuesday and the tech gurus at motogp.com have had their say on the Valencia Test.
