Sunday at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana is the biggest day of the 2020 MotoGP™ season so far. Jack Miller (Pramac Racing), who finished third at the Valencia GP last year, has qualified second as the top Ducati rider, equalling his best qualifying result so far this season from Austria, Emilia Romagna and France. This is also the best qualifying for Ducati in Valencia since Andrea Iannone was second at the 2014 Valencia GP. Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) has qualified 11th, which is the second time since he stepped up to MotoGP™ that he has failed to qualify within the top 10, along with last week at the European GP – where he was also 11th. Mir, who has a chance to clinch the MotoGP™ title on Sunday, has qualified 12th, which is the fifth time so far this year he has failed to qualify within the top 10.
