Mick Schumacher ‘to leave Ferrari at the end of the season’ despite dad Michael’s stunning legacy with F1 team

MICK SCHUMACHER’S affiliation with Ferrari is set to end once the F1 season is complete, according to reports. The German, 23, is in his second season driving for Haas. But when his Ferrari Driver Academy contract expires at the end of the year, Schumacher will not be kept on, report Motorsport.com. That would leave Schumacher without a team, though his close friend Esteban Ocon has backed him to join Alpine. Schumacher joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2019 – a year after winning the European F3 championship. Later that year he teamed up with Haas in Abu Dhabi but only scored his first F1 points at Silverstone this year.
