The Haas F1 team has confirmed a long running rumor that Mick Schumacher will join the team for the 2021 season. Mick is the son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, and is leading the Formula 2 championship with the final round being run this weekend at Sakhir. Team principal Gunther Steiner said, “I’m very pleased that we’re able to confirm Mick Schumacher in our driver lineup for next season and I look forward to welcoming him into the team. I would like to thank Haas F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari Driver Academy for placing their trust in me.
