Michael Schumacher’s son Mick is confirmed to be WITHOUT a drive next season as he’s replaced by Nico Hulkenberg at US-owned Haas – with contract up after this weekend’s finale in Abu Dhabi

Mick Schumacher, son of Ferrari great and seven-time world champion Michael, will be without a full-time Formula drive next season after the US-owned Haas team announced his departure on Thursday. ‘Mick’s pedigree in the junior categories was well known and he has continued to grow and develop as a driver in his time with Haas F1 team,’ Steiner said in a statement. ‘I’m naturally very pleased to be welcoming Nico Hulkenberg back to a full-time racing role in Formula 1,’ Steiner added Thursday. ‘I’m very happy to move into a full-time race seat with Haas F1 Team in 2023. I feel like I never really left Formula 1,’ Hulkenberg said.
