Mercedes will take more sets of the softest available tyres to next week’s Canadian Grand Prix than rivals Ferrari.
However Mercedes has also selected one extra set of the hard tyres for Valtteri Bottas.
Ferrari, last year’s winners at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, have chosen more medium compound tyres than any of their rivals, opting for five sets of the C4s each for Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc.
McLaren, Racing Point and Alfa Romeo have been the most aggressive with their tyre selections, bring nine sets of the soft tyres for each of their drivers.
