Mercedes-Benz W194 dominator roars at FOS

Mercedes-Benz' first post-war legend that successes the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Eifelrennen at the Nordschleife, the Carrera Panamericana and Mille Miglia straight out of the box in 1952! Despite its diminuitive 175bhp, its low weight and low aeordynamic drag allowed the W194 to reach speeds of 160mph! This particular car – Chassis #05 – was raced to fourth by veteran racer Rudolf Caracciola in the Mille Miglia and to a second in the Carrera Panamericana by Hermann Lang. See it here at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard in full swing! #FOS #Mercedes #Motorsport
