McLaren's MP4-12C was the first full production road car the company ever made. And it gained a bit of a reputation for being very fast but a little bit... dull. But is that reputation deserved at all? Or is the MP4-12C actually a properly magnificent supercar? With a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine putting out 600PS and 600Nm of torque it remains incredible rapid to this day and its looks have probably got better with age. Becky Evans drove the MP4-12C to find out if it's time to love it again.
