McLaren driver Lando Norris becomes FIFTH F1 driver to test positive for coronavirus after contracting the illness on holiday in Dubai

McLaren’s Lando Norris is set to return to England this week after he contracted coronavirus while on holiday in Dubai. The 21-year old Briton was forced to quarantine in his hotel room for 14 days following a positive test for the virus on January 4. He must now return a negative test before flying back to the UK. Norris is among five F1 drivers to contract the illness – a quarter of the 20-strong grid. Norris became Britain’s youngest driver to stand on top of a Formula One podium after he crossed the line in third at last year’s season-opening round in Austria.
