McIntosh & Timms Lead Monday’s Chili Bowl Field

TULSA, Okla. — The 37th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals opens Monday night at the SageNet Center with a full field of entries on Cummins Qualifying Night. After heats, qualifiers and main events, the top-two finishers in the 30-lap feature will lock into to Saturday night’s main event. Cannon McIntosh and Ryan Timms look to be the favorites heading into the opening night program. It will be Windom’s 16th Chili Bowl appearance, yet he’s never won a preliminary main event. His best finish in Saturday’s main event is fifth in 2010. Coons has qualified for 18 Chili Bowl A-features with a best finish of fourth on three occasions.
