BULLS GAP, Tenn. — Dale McDowell led all 100 laps and banked $100,000 Saturday night at Volunteer Speedway. McDowell started outside the front row and led the XR Super Series Spring Thaw from flag to flag, beating Mike Marlar to the checkered flag. Polesitter Hudson O’Neal finished third, with Kyle Bronson and Tyler Erb rounding out the top five. McDowell was the fast qualifier for the 60-car field with a lap of 13.171 seconds.
