Max Verstappen takes stunning Hungarian GP victory from way down in 10th on the grid as Lewis Hamilton’s flying finish sees him overtake his Mercedes team-mate George Russell and grab second

Max Verstappen won the Hungarian Grand Prix in stunning style after Ferrari again conspired to nobble themselves with a bizarre strategy call. LAP 65/70: Hamilton now moves ahead of team-mate Russell into second place. LAP 64/70: DRS for Hamilton as he tries to get ahead of Russell. LAP 63/70: Hamilton moves up into third as he gets ahead of Sainz. LAP 55/70: Leclerc, who is in fifth place, now pits. LAP 54/70: Now Russell manages to get ahead of Leclerc into second place. LAP 48/70: Sainz is coming in to pit, which sees Hamilton take lead of the race. LAP 45/70: Verstappen manages to get ahead of Leclerc into third place. LAP 40/70: Sainz is now in the lead, with Hamilton in second.
