Max Verstappen won the Belgian Grand Prix from 14th on the grid – not only his ninth victory of the season but a one-sided annihilation. We have just three laps left and Max Verstappen looks set for victory with a 17-place lead over Perez in second. Sergio Perez is called in as well and with a rapid stop lasting just 2.6 seconds emerges in third place behind Mercedes driver George Russell. The Ferrari team then got on the radio to tell him they are moving to plan D in a desperate attempt to try and catch up to the Red Bull’s who are just flying!. Sainz takes the lead while Verstappen is in the pits but the Dutchman is so quick that it will only take a few laps to get his lead back. Sergio Perez is the first Red Bull to pit and what a stop it is taking just 2.2 seconds! There we have it, after just 13 laps Max Verstappen takes the lead at the Belgian GP as Carlos Sainz pits. He will have to pit but this is Verstappen’s race to lose now!. The Ferrari driver is up to 13th but this isn’t the start he would have been hoping for.
