Maserati commits to electric future as it bids farewell to the V8

Maserati is putting their electric future front and centre at the fifth Motor Valley Fest in Modena, Italy, showcasing the final editions of their V8-range before the complete electrification of the House of Trident by 2030. Maserati’s GranTurismo Folgore – the first 100% electric car in the brand’s history, and Grecale Folgore – the first full-electric SUV – are the first of many all-electric cars to be introduced under the Folgore name, or ‘lightning’. In Piazza Grande, the entire Maserati Folgore range will be on show for the first time: GranTurismo Folgore One Off Luce and Grecale Folgore will be joined by the firm’s GEN3 Maserati Tipo Folgore.
