Marks Tops Sprint Car Rankings Again

Brent Marks was able to drop his worst two finishes of the season after hitting the 50-start plateau and as a result, returned to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings for the second time in three weeks. Marks, who has 35 top-five finishes in 52 races, leads the rankings with a 4.720 average finish. Last week’s leader, Justin Peck, fell to second with an average finish of 5.060 in 60 starts. Danny Dietrich, who won Sunday night at BAPS Motor Speedway, is third in the national rankings with a 5.220 average finish in 58 races. Anthony Macri, who leads the nation with 16 victories, and Brad Sweet, who won Saturday’s World of Outlaws race at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway, round out the top five.
