Marc Marquez aiming to ride at this weekend’s Andalucia GP

Repsol Honda Team’s Marc Marquez will try and make an astonishing return to MotoGP™ this weekend, just four days after fracturing his right humerus in Sunday’s season-opening Spanish Grand Prix. The World Champion had successful surgery on Tuesday, with MotoGP™ Traumatology Specialist Dr Mir saying the Spaniard could at best hope for a Brno return in two weeks. However, in a superhuman effort, the eight-time World Champion is currently travelling to the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto where he’ll then undergo a medical check at 13:30 this afternoon, with the hope of being passed fit by the MotoGP™ medical team so he can then participate in this weekend’s Gran Premio Red Bull de Andalucia. All of the reaction from around the world to Marc Marquez making a stunning return to MotoGP™ four days after fracturing his humerus. But the opportunity could also prove a big one… 2 days ago.
