M-Sport unveils new Fiesta rally car

M-Sport today (13 November) took the wraps off the world’s first Rally3 category car when it revealed full details of its latest Fiesta. The Rally3 car sits in the midpoint of the FIA’s rally pyramid. And it places above the Rally4 Fiesta, around which the Junior WRC is based, and the grass roots Rally5 car. The Fiesta Rally3, which is aimed at competitors looking to cut their teeth in all-wheel drive machinery, has been designed and developed by M-Sport Poland, the Krakow-based arm of Malcolm Wilson’s British firm. The Fiesta is powered by a 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine, delivering 215bhp and 400Nm of torque through a five-speed sequential gearbox. “The Fiesta Rally3 will by no means be an alternative to any car that is out there currently.
