Pierre-Louis Loubet is working to understand how best to approach next week’s Rally Italia Sardegna (8 – 11 October) after what he admitted was a baptism of rough rally fire in Turkey. “It was more difficult because we didn’t manage the car and it was very difficult for me to be confident. Always I was not sure what I was doing and this is very difficult when you have to drive fast with this car,” he explained. Loubet said he would spend the time between Turkey and Sardinia analysing data and onboards to further his understanding of how to get the best out of the Hyundai on rough gravel.
