Logan Sargeant’s seat is confirmed: America WILL have its first Formula One driver in EIGHT years as rising star gains enough Super License points in F2 finale to seal Williams contract

Logan Sargeant has successfully gained enough Super License points to confirm his Formula One seat for 2023, meaning America has an F1 driver for the first time in eight years. Sargeant, 21, was told by Williams in October that he had secured a drive with them next year, but his contract was dependent on him finishing the season strong in Formula 2. Under the condition that he has enough Super License points after Abu Dhabi, he will be our second driver next year. ‘His first year in F2, and he won races, and he has been qualifying very strong all these years in his career – and we believe he’s absolutely ready to get into Formula 1.
