LLOYD PICKS UP THE PACE TO BAG MORE POINTS AT THRUXTON

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship’s second seasonal visit to the Hampshire speedbowl, Thruxton Race Circuit, delivered a more fruitful set of results for Adrian Flux with Power Maxed Racing’s Daniel Lloyd. Lloyd looked to be in strong contention in race one before being hit with a five-second time penalty, for lining his #123 Vauxhall Astra out of position, and was subsequently relegated to P11 at the flag. It’s my home circuit and where I took my first BTCC win. The BTCC now has a three-week break before reconvening at Lloyd’s home track, Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire, on 18/19 September.
