Lewis Hamilton takes out all 20 F1 drivers to celebrate old rival Sebastian Vettel’s retirement from the sport… and the ‘Brit picks up a jaw-dropping £140,000 tab!’

The full F1 grid was pictured out for dinner in Abu Dhabi this week, as they celebrated Sebastian Vettel’s retirement from the sport. The meal was reportedly organised by Vettel’s old rival Lewis Hamilton, who is also said to have picked up the bill. Vettel and Hamilton both joined the F1 grid in 2007 and have spent much of their time racing together as fierce rivals. Despite their fierce rivalry, which came to a head in spectacular fashion in 2017 when Vettel drove into Hamilton in anger in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the pair appear to have mellowed. Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Grand Prix, Hamilton reflected on his 15-year-rivalry with Vettel and what might come next for the German.
