FORMULA ONE star Lewis Hamilton has revealed he would be “honoured” if he were made an honorary citizen of Brazil. Hamilton took a Brazilian flag on to the podium with him after he won last year’s F1 Grand Prix in Sao Paulo. And evidently the love is reciprocated, with a bill to make Hamilton an honorary citizen currently pending in Brazilian parliament. Mercedes driver Hamilton posted a screenshot of a Brazilian article on the subject to his Twitter account, captioning the post “I’d be honoured”. Hamilton continued his love-affair with the nation on Wednesday with a Twitter post that was just emojis of the Brazilian flag. Clearly though the bridges between Hamilton and people of Brazil have since been rebuilt.
