MOORESVILLE, N.C. –Team Penske will no longer race in the LMP2 class for the remainder of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, following the 24 Hours of Le Mans next month. “We are very appreciative of our time in WEC this year and we have been able to make the most of our time on track this season,” said Team Penske President Tim Cindric. In its first two races of the 2022 WEC season, the Team Penske LMP2 team, with drivers Dane Cameron, Felipe Nasr and Emmanuel Collard, finished eighth in class at Sebring and fourth in class at Spa-Francorchamps. Team Penske will compete in its final LMP2 race of the 2022 FIA WEC season at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, June 8-12.
