Last-Lap Pass Lifts Marks Past Macri

— After consecutive rainouts, the 33rd annual PA Sprint Speedweek got back on the track Wednesday night at Hagerstown Speedway. Anthony Macri, who won the first two rounds of Speedweek, shared the front row with Brent Marks and the duo waged war throughout the 30-lap event on the half-mile dirt track, with Marks making a last-lap pass of Macri pay off for the victory. It was Marks first Speedweek victory of the season and his fiftth triumph of the season aboard his familiar Murray-Marks No. Macri, meanwhile, came home second and holds a commanding 107-point lead over Justin Peck, who finished sixth, in the Speedweek standings.
