Red Bull KTM Factory Racing have announced the departure of team boss Mike Leitner, following a disappointing end to the 2021 MotoGP™ World Championship. After a mixed season, Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder take stock after a couple of tough but productive days in the south of Spain. Leitner originally came into the KTM Race Department and helped construct the testing squad that began work on the KTM RC16 in 2015 and then the official Red Bull KTM MotoGP team that first took to the grid at the end of 2016 in Valencia. It’s been another below-par day for the factory KTM rider as he prepares to launch from 17th on the grid at his home Grand Prix.
