FIA Junior WRC champion Tom Kristensson is joining M-Sport Ford’s WRC2 line-up for a six-round programme starting at next month’s asphalt Croatia Rally (22 – 25 April). “It was always my plan to drive in the FIA World Rally Championship and it feels great to see everything coming together now. “He’s going up against an extremely experienced field, but his focus will be on learning and progressing throughout the year,” he said. The 2022 FIA World Rally Championship season is already shaping up to be an absolute cracker. “In recent years, the FIA Junior World Rally Championship has been integral to this, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Tom develops as the latest youngster to graduate from this scheme.”.
